June 13, 2008  Friday the 13^th…

Most people worry about this date but actually it was a pretty relaxed night  at the races for everyone.

Visitors from Oxford were cheering us on….

As the sun set we were ready to get the Coors 100 started.

There is always a lot of nervous energy and fidgeting during a long race.  Kathy and I both think it would help if we had radios!!  Denied again!!

Kathy was overwhelmed with the whole thing!

We were happy for an early night, Michigan International was on the agenda for the weekend.   We saw a bit of history made with Ernhardt winning for the first time in 2 years.  Thought the stands were going to collapse under the stomping and cheering.   Michigan is a great big track, a clean facility, very well organized.
